Century: Age of Ashes Puts in Control of a Dragon for Multiplayer Mayhem

Century: Historic period of Ashes was i of many new games announced this evening at The Game Awards. The debut game from Playwing is a free-to-play multiplayer title that puts you in charge of a dragon for aerial combat. Century is set to kick off its early access period in February 2022 and looks similar it could be some fun, fast-paced commotion. Give the trailer a watch below.

When I beginning saw the trailer for Century: Age of Ashes, I was immediately reminded of that PS3 archetype Lair. Hopefully, this game is a chip more fun to play than Factor 5's dragon-based game. Truthfully, it likely has more in common with The Falconeer. That game launched before this year to mixed reviews; however, information technology had some fun ideas that its small-scale team could aggrandize upon.

Century: Age of Ashes could exist poised to practise just that. Obviously, the games aren't one-for-one replicas, just they share that aerial combat Deoxyribonucleic acid. Century lets yous hop into battles ranging from 3v3 to 6v6v6. And each player will take their ain choice of class. At launch, yous'll only have three choices, simply at that place are plans for more as the game moves through early access.

Of form, this existence a costless-to-play game, information technology looks similar information technology volition take a heavy focus on cosmetics. That's not, in itself, a bad affair; yet, it's worth noting. If you're not a fan of games nickel-and-diming you for new content, maybe give this one a pass until we know more.

Century: Age of Ashes launches on PC in February 2022.
